Varicose and spider veins are a common condition, but they can be treated safely, painlessly and effectively. The Sclerotherapy procedure is performed in the comfort of our office and normal activities may be resumed immediately after treatment. Make your legs beautiful again. Treatment of leg veins can be challenging and rewarding.  Spider veins and visible blue veins can be unattractive and larger varicose veins can be painful. Schlerotherapy involves injecting a sclerorant into a vein to cause it to close down.  Dr Johnson uses a special polarization head gear to visualize the vein and using the smallest needle available, painlessly injects the unwanted veins in your legs. The veins begin to disappear over 2-4 wks.  Dr Johnson's approach is to try to clear up the "feeder" veins first, then clean up the smaller spider veins. Each session, Dr Johnson tries to do both legs as much as possible.  IPL/laser can be used on some veins too small to inject during each session.
